Football Clinics

M Sports staff have been working with primary schools NZ-wide for over a decade, delivering fun and exciting football and rugby clinics.

The programme caters to the needs of children, parents and teachers. The clinics are available to children in years 1-6 of primary school, delivered in 5 weekly blocks.

The clinics are 45 minutes in duration. The session content includes specifically-designed fun exercises and matches. The content is high in movement and includes every child participating. The sessions are designed according to the ability and age levels of the children which makes for an enjoyable learning experience.

To register click the “Book now!” button at the top of this page.

Favourite games include ‘Doctor Doctor’, ‘Knights and Castles’, ‘Duck Shoot’, and ‘Sky Tower Tag’. The games incorporate the skills and techniques used in the game of football, helping the children to develop dribbling, passing, shooting and defending techniques. Children will also experience the opportunity to play in realistic age-specific small sided football games 3v3, 4v4, 5v5 during the clinics.

Children will be required to wear a form of sports shoe, either sprigs or runners, preferably no bare feet. A change of clothes into sports apparel, shorts, t-shirts, or tracksuits is advisable but not essential. Many children wear their school uniforms. Parent participation is not required allowing you the freedom to do as you please during the time the M Sports staff work with children.
